Splurge on Chloe Intense EDP Perfume

Hye all!

Yeah, I've been a little busy with works (lame excuse) hence I leave my blog without any latest news or happenings. Anyhow, I'll keep this post succinct and easier to digest.

We (my husband and I) went to Langkawi few weeks back for a three days two nighst 'Kursus' and I splurge myself with a worthwhile buy, Chloe Intense EDP Perfume.

The smell is not overpowering, with a blend of rose mainly, pink pepper, sandalwood and tonka. It has it's own attitude with nothing sweet but musky like you're standing in a garden full of roses. Plus, the bottle looks exclusive with a black ribbon tied.

It is priced at RM279.00 for 50 ml with 10% less, so i paid RM251.10.

So if anyone has no idea of Christmas Pressie, this perfume is definitely a steal!

p/s My next perfume will be Gucci by Gucci

Saturday Madness!

We woke up super early that day just to make sure we were among the earliest to step our foot on the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale at Maeps, Serdang. Okay, we managed to hop on Cili Padi ( the shuttle bus back and forth from the parking lot to Hall A) without any problems. Finger crossed, I plan to have so many books that I love, books by Jodi Picoult, Danielle Steel and many other authors. I'm really a book worm. Seriously.

See? like i told ya, the crowds have gone mad! Everyuone eagerly wanted to go in and shop for their favorite book. Us, on the other hand, remain sane and calm. Erm, I wore new blouse and new tight that day. Thanks for dear Sayang for sponsoring my outfit that day. HIhiks!

The sea of books just drove everyone's nut. There are a lot of tables, housing different types of books. Here in the picture is books for young adult, where I got hooked.

Real bargain, Jamie Oliver's cook book for only RM 25, instead of its actual price RM 169.00.

Phew, finally..... these are the books we managed to stash! Total cost is RM131.00. In total 14 books, honestly, will take me Forever to collect them all. Hahahaha!

The Big Bad Wolf Sale will finish on Oct 16, 2011. For more info log on to http://www.bigbadwolfbooks.com/.

Till next time!

I'm Talking about Budget 2012

The theme for Budget 2012 is Transformation Budget : Welfare for the people, Well being for the nation is hopefully to adress the issue of increasing cost of living especially in the city. Most Rakyat, are expecting so much from the Budget in which will be delivered by the PM this afternoon at 4.00pm.

According to The Star Budget 2012 is expected to adress the issue on retirement, the civil service, rural development, affordable homes and education.

Budget 2012 is meaningful if there is a review in the salary of junior officer especially those working in the public sector. Despite of higher cost of food and basic needs, most of the junior officers struggle to own a comfortable house as a result of the hike in property's price. However to some, Budget 2012 is more to election budget.

PM said yesterday (Source : The Star, dated Oct, 07 2011) This is truly a Transformational Budget for all Malaysians, and one that will keep us firmly on the path towards becoming a fully developed high income nation. Yes, PM is right, with another 9 years towards Vision 2020, Budget 2012 is expected to increase the standard of living amongst Malaysian. I have strong faith in our PM to lead us in achieving Vision 2020.

I just can't wait for the Budget 2012 speech this afternoon, in which I believed, there is something for everyone.

Reminisce.....

I'm listening to hitz.fm while working on my papers this morning, and JJ and Ian are on air discussing about direct translation and Google translate. It is so funny when they translate 'Move Like Jagger' song to Bahasa Malaysia. I can't help but to laugh out loud... Hahahha!

Anyway, I would love to share with you guys on the songs that inspires me, every time i hear it, I think about how blessed I am and really, one way to help me releasing my stress.

  1. Cherish by Papa Bear - this song was introduced by best friend and I love it the moment i hear it.

  2. Fix you by Cold Play

  3. I don't want to miss a thing by Aerosmith

  4. Breathe by Sean Paul & Mary J. Blige
Music has the ability to make us smile and make us even stronger to stand tall, especially those inspiring song. Music has the power to make you feel in love, and music can melt into your heart and eventually make you believe the world is a better place to live in, music acts as a vitamin when you feel low. Hence, music is indeed a powerful tool to make us STRONGER!

Work is stressful enough, right, so chill and listen to the Radio!

Thanks for reading all!

Love! Xoxo!

I popped a question to him while we're on the way to work,

Me : When did you realize to marry me?

Him : Hahahahha! Why do you want to know?

Me : Owwh, Just a question, erm.... to make me feel good.....

Him : The moment I saw you.....

Me : Hahahahah! sweet talker!

Yeah, my husband is a sweet talker!
Up till now, I'm still wondering if it's true, anyway, I don't mind because he just made my day... like he always do!

The End Of Quarantine Period

Alhamdulillah it's over!

Sarah is getting better, free from HFMD and fever, only running nose and still coughing once a while. Get well soon dear.....

I have few plans for tomorrow (subject to change.. ;p) such as to visit my newborn niece in Bukit Jelutong who was born on Sept 12, 2011, to find Sarah's swimming suit for Finance Club family Day on Oct 1, 2011, to go to his friends house's and shopping for my body essentials. Hurm, sounds like an interesting day tomorrow.. hihiks!

While on Sunday, I'll join the Royal Malaysian Custom's 7 kilometres Jogathon with my lovely colleagues Safiah, Ja, Kak Rubi and our boss Puan Mourine. Well guys, I'm not sure whether I'm fit enough to complete the run. Nevertheless I'll give my best! Yeay! Previously in DPA, I managed to complete the 7km run within 50mins (if i'm not mistaken), and I'm afraid with the excessive intake of rendang and ketupat during Aidilfitri going to slow me down. Anyway, IT IS for fun! Ahaks!

Kay folks, I hope you guys have your own plans for the weekend and Njoy!

Luv, Xoxo!

  3. Be as stylish as ever!
So, happy Birthday to me! Luv, Xoxo!

Sarah and HFMD!

It was on Tuesday evening when daddy Sarah realized there were rashes on Sarah's both knees. Her body temperature that day wasn't that high, between 36.7 and 37.5. Earlier that day, I've noticed a small tooth comes out so i thought she's going to get a fever due to the teething like she had before. Worried, we brought her to Klinik Kesihatan Putrajaya, only then we know she has been infected with HFMD (Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease). We both are panicked and worried sick because it is a contagious disease! We went home with medicine prescribed by the doctor such as Fepril Syrup 120 Mg, H-Cort Cream and Orregel for mouth ulcer. Plus, we put some Calamine Lotion to reduce the itchiness....

The next day, there was a Medical Assistant came to our house to issue a letter stated hereby, Sarah Zulaikha Shahrizal needs to stay at home from the period of September 12 until September 21, 2011 under Section 12 (1) & 15 (1) Prevention and Control of Contagious Diseases 1988. And if we disobey this, we may be charged under Section 24 by the same Act. Phew, house quarantine!

Sarah is on her worst condition on the second day, there were two blisters in her mouth, the rashes are red around her knee, back of her hand and the diapers area. She can't sleep so much because she's also suffering from teething... Hurm, Daddy and I have to take an alternate off day to babysit her. What worried me the most is her refusal to food. I can't focus to work because i keep on thinking about her....

Today is the fifth day since she was infected and I can see the blisters and the rashes has dried, she wants to eat, and she plays and smiles more than those four days..... We took some pictures of her during shower ( the pictures we taken yesterday!... ;p)

That's that for today! love, Xoxo!

Jodi Picoult - House Rules

I'm currently reading this novel... a real page turner and interesting book.... I'll do a full review of the book after i finish reading it. The novel is about ( well.. after a few chapters of reading) a single Mom, Emma struggling in taking care of her son by the name of Jacob who is diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS). It is interesting because it is written in a narration of each character in the novel.

I bought it at POPULAR Book store during our short trip to AEON Malacca on the fourth day of Aidilfitri (Wut!)... Yeah, the mall is full of non-malays because everyone is busy visiting friends and families.... Ahaks!

Anyway, i'll keep reading and i'll definitely share my POV of this book.

Till next time.

Luv, XOXO!

Daddy and beanie chair

Does he looks alive as ever? In fact both of us love to play with this beanie chair. Unfortunately IT IS expensive.... We stumble upon this beanie chair in Pakcik's place at Cheras Perdana... belongs to my hubby's cousin. Erm, we like the beanie because it gives us value added which is slimmer-looking-you in one sec.

On the other hand, look at Sarah, she seems to hate the beanie chair. Just look how tortured she is.....

Sarah's Baju Raya *wink*

Hari Raya Aidilfitri is coming in 8 days! Yeay! A lot of Raya songs and ads aired in TVs and Radios. Hurm... We'll celebrate Raya this year at my Mummy's place in Rengit, Johor with my other siblings..... I'll start my raya leave this friday until the next two Mondays! Hurray!

We went shopping last saturday at Jusco Cheras Selatan. Erm, nothing much for Mommy and Daddy (As I'm looking for a new handbag for Raya.. :p). As usual, lots of makcik, pakciks were busy preparing for Raya.

Owh, on the other side Sarah is 1.8 years now, her height is about 80 cm and her weight is 10.9kgs. So it wasn't that hard to find those cute little blouse and jeans for her. I went to Poney and found a super duper 50% discount for a jeans and 30% discount for her pink blouse (pink.... again and again... and again... hahahah!). erm... if I'm not mistaken this will be her third baju raya.

I bought her second Baju Raya from Little Migael Bangi. It is located at Seksyen 7, Bandar Baru Bangi. They offered clothes for babies mostly, toddler aged 2 to 5 years. you may also visit the store's blog http://www.mylittlemiqael.blogspot.com/.

The first one is a cute shocking pink gown bought by Mama Ngah at parkson Alamanda... (Thanks so much Mama Ngah).

I guess that's all for now. Till we meet again!

Xoxo!

So it is the day!

It is so hard to survive office in Monday due to many reasons. As usual, there are a lot of new things coming on monday. Huargh! Can we just skip monday? or we are given an option to come late to office on monday to cope with our post weekend trauma? :p. Yeah, somebody needs to work that out... wait... am I somebody? do I need to work it out? Theeehehehehehe!

So today is the bonus pay out day for the government servant. The calculation is based on your basic salary divided by half times total working days divided by 220 ( on why the calculation is so like that, please visit the PSD's website at http://www.jpa.gov.my/) I'm very very sure Alamanda is going to be full with people spending their money on food, clothes, entertainment and so on so on.

I really had a lot in my mind right now (or rather a lot of things to buy), erm.. one of them is how to spend the money wisely...... Owwwh! i'm thinking of a nice leather handbag for myself.. hihiks! Anyway, thanks to the govorment for the bonus given, at least those in need can celebrate and have a meaningful Raya.

I don't know about you guys, but as an ordinary middle class young professional, to spend money freely is just not what meant for me ( at least at the moment... :p).

That's that about the bonus! I want to continue with my shopping list for now. Luv from me!

XOXO

p/s I'll join the rest to Alamanda this evening, anybody wana chip in?

Update #1

Update #1 : Throwing Away Unused/Broken/Old Shoes!
As promised, I want to steer clear all my unused thingy starts from shoes, clothes, old make up, old mags and any unwanted things around the house. The first one in the list is getting rid of my old shoes. With the help of Sarah, i've sorted out five (one is not n d pix) shoes which look teribbly worn out and a bit 'kembang' for me to wear.

These used to be my favorite shoes.. Each of it has different memories.... I think they were in my possession for about two or three years... Two from Vincci, One from Nose and One from Sachs.... As you can see from the pix above, they are quite lusuh aren't they... Good bye shoes!

Shoes about to leave the house!

Good news about throwing away old shoes is I've got plenty of rooms for new shoes! Yeay! In fact, i've bought two pair of new shoes in July (only TWO) as a first step in updating my shoes collections! ANother one for raya, for sure.....

I think that's all for now! I'l update you more folks! luv ya all!

Hurm, hurm. hurm...

Yerp, I'm back!
Safe and sound...

I intended to update my blog immediately after i finished my DPA, but due to an extra clingy baby girl who is 1.8 months now, messy house and all, only now I managed to write about us!

Before that, Salam Ramadhan AL-Mubarak to all bloggers around Malaysia, doesnt matter if they know me or the other way, to my friends and families... May Ramadhan this year brings more Barakah and rezki to all of us.

There are a lot of things to catch up after 7 months of DPA such as to add more on my shoes and handbags collection since money was really tight during DPA, to 'kemas' my dusty house, to throw away any unused baju kurung, old clothes and pants, to get new clothes and dresses for Sarah ( whose now a big girl..) Oh! not to forget, i have lost about 7kgs after DPA. Sweet!

I'm currently working at Ministry of Finance in Precint 2. Hopefully I can catch up with everything very fast. Thanks to people in Seksyen Kewangan for a warm welcome... I hope I'm well liked here... gheee......

I'm busy lately, planning for Raya! LOL..... It will be my 3rd raya with hubby, 2nd with Sarah, my 28th raya and 5th Raya without my late Baba..... AL fatihah to him. Family ( Mom's and siblings) theme color is purple, too bad i have chosen torquise for daddy and I. Haven't bought anything for Sarah yet.... Hihiks!

okay folks, i wanna take a 15 minutes nap and start of again with my hardcore office works.

Lurve from mommy, daddy and Sarah!

My Brilliant 5

For some, Running is just a form of exercise, designed to burn calories, excessive fats and to make you feel good about yourselves.

I ran a lot lately.

For one reason : I run to forget things.

Things that simply won't be mine...........

It was such a relief afterwards, because it won't lingers around my head for sometimes... and if it does come, I'll run again......

Me and My L'oreal Revitalift!

Three weeks ago, I started using my L'oreal Revitalift White Day and Night Cream after committed to Olay White Radiance ever since my U life. The L'oreal Revitalift White Day Cream has SPF 18 with 15 other benefits such as to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, saggy jaws, uneven skin tones and so on. The first thing that came to my mind was, how could this magic potion kept in a small jar like this. I've bought it for only RM 35.91, 10% off the original price.

The cream smells nice, not like other L'oreal products in which came with a strong weird chemical aroma. The texture of the cream is creamy in which I liked the most. It feels so light and not oily when applied on my skin. I use it twice a day after toning with L'oreal Revitalift Toner. The cream immediately tighten my skin and it looks so fresh and supple. I really love this cream.

To complete my skin regiment, I use the L'oreal Revitalift Night Cream with Elastin. I love this cream so much because it makes my skin looks younger than ever.

After three weeks of using these products, my skin looks more radiance, less oily, tremendous reduction of blackheads, tighter skins especially on my cheeks and jaw, but unfortunately my pores are still visible. Huh! The products are also kind and mild to my skin since no irritation develops till now. I'm planning to get the L'oreal Revitalift Eye Cream to reduce those cute wrinkles under my eyes.

I'll not hesitate to repurchase these products again, but given choices, I'll splurge on Lancome Blanc Expert Ultimate Whitening Beauty Lotion.... Heheheheheh!
