The colors of Malaysia.

Today is the 25th of August, year 2010. Meaning that in 6 more days, Malaysia will celebrate its 53rd Independence Day. Happy Independence Day Malaysia!

Im proud to be Malaysian. I believe each one of us do. Our actions sometimes, doesn't reflects what we say. I live in a government flat. There's a letter from BPH encouraging us to fly Jalur Gemilang in our home. I read the letter and i eventually forget to do anything.

Hey blame me not... I have one Jalur Gemilang... So pity the color has faded so badly, the blue turns to purple. I just don't have the heart to hang her up. Maybe my spirit of Independence Day is not there yet... But when it'll be?

Anyway! Happy Anniversary to you Malaysia, and to all Malaysians... appreciate the freedom you have today.

Am I a Blogger?

I'm a blogger? Harsh reality I'm not. I just love to write. I write almost everything and I try to update my blog as much as possible. I own a blog, check, I update my blog, check. Does that make me a blogger?

I started my own blog theree days before I gave birth to Baby Sarah. Naive and feels like an idiot, my aim was to write anything and everything associated to Baby Sarah. God knows, its ended up as a mixed of everything. I love to read and write. Perhaps that is why I chose Marketing with Multimedia as my major in university instead of Maths. Marketing, yes I love marketing.. but Multimedia? heck no! As I know, Multimedia is a combination of various media such as audio, video, image, graphic and text. Dreamweaver and Flash was once my friends to pass my exams.

As i mentioned earlier, read and write is part of my soul. While reading is my main source of information, writing is the way i comprehend what i read. Perfect combination. I write as much as I read. I write useful articles, I write craps, I write s**T, I write my own experiences, I write about people and so on. As an amateur, my piece of works might not have any value to some, but thanks to those who appreciate it. The joy of writing is the ability to express your own thought, the freedom to write whatever you like and of course no talking involves. It's like a journey of you facing the cruel world. Hehehe.

I'm so close to be an active blogger I guess. If only i didn't experience brain drain. It took an effort to write plus some creativity.

I want a simple life

I want to have that brand new LED TV from Samsung, I want to have an iPAD, I want to have a luxurious vacation, I want to have more this and that.. Huh, how stressful. I'm kind of tired of my brain's pushing me to go beyond my capabilities. Can't we live simple life? We simply can't. Questions on how much is my income, my husband's job, what car i'm driving, which area i live, whar brands i wear and bla bla bla. Those are factors complicate my life even more. I think too much about what others think of me. But that was before: I need a drastic change to simplify my life eventually reducing unnecessary stress.

i found 10 tips from the Net so maybe you guys may choose one to live a simple life. Hope it helps!

1. Doing one thing at a time : Always remember to focus at a thing you really really need to settle and avoid distractions as much as possible
2. Simplify your schedule : Reduce the number of commitments and stick to only the essentials one
3. Get your muscles moving : Holla Couch potatoes! Move your ass and be healthy!
4. Develop one healthy habit this month : Dedicated to hubby... Maybe this month is the perfect time to throw your socks direct to the laundry basket
5. Do something calming : Try yoga, reading and maybe a nap with aromatic candles lit on
6. Simplify your finances : Live within your means.. less debt less problems...
7. Have a blast! : Party or vacation once in a while will relax yourself a lil bit
8. Get Creative
9. Declutter : Ladies! It's time to get rid of those unwanted and small blouse. You are not getting any slimmer! hahahah!

Pudu Prison

I got the chance to ride on a monorail from Bukit Bintang Station to Hang Tuah Station. From inside the monorail, there’s a very historical building stand still, waiting to be abolished, I can see clearly as the monorail passed Her, she looks so old, gruesome , with faded painting, behind the wall is full of bushes, collapsed wall, totally sad and pathetic view to glance at. And she’s a victim of modernization, Pudu Prison.

It was a very bright and sunny day that day. My hubby and I walked to Pudu Prison from Hang Tuah LRT station. The concrete wall stands strong, with a very dull painting, some loud and harsh graffiti and some annoying wordings. I took some pictures as a memoty before it vanishes forever.

He's Looking For a New Home

This cat’s name is Jimmy. Two years old (human year), weight 7 kilos, vaccinated. I’m giving out this cat for his own happiness. It just makes me sad when I couldn’t give him the best after my delivery. So I decided to give him out for his own good. Jimmy is a very good cat, he loves to sleep with his owner, currently eats friskies ( which contribute to his obesity), bathe once a month. He was once our l'il precious until we've got our own daughter.

Salam Ramadhan Al-Mubarak

My family and I would like to wish Salam Ramadhan Al-Mubarak to all Moslim around the globe. we also would like to sincerely apologize for any wrongdoings and the words we said that might hurt anyone.

Ramadhan this year is the first for Baby Sarah. For me, shopping for raya will be so much fun with the new family member. I plan to get her a new dress, mini and headbands from the store. In fact I have booked two shoes from Fsbaby Tales, one from mothercare and the other one from Baby Gap.

For hubby and I, this year is the second Ramadhan together. It is indeed will be merrier with the presence of our precious baby gurl.

So again, I would like wish all of you a barakath Ramadhan Al-Mubarak.

Weekend

Weekend is the time for all of us to rest and relax, away from work and anything associated to work.

I'm pretty much busy on weekend.. with the house chores. Sigh! A basket full with unwashed clothes, both ours and baby Sarah, another basket full of clean clothes, last night's dirty dishes, dusts everywhere and the list goes on.

We normally go the market on Saturday morning, I'll cook for the family including baby Sarah, only then we decide whether to go out or not. erm.. most of the time, we just lepaking at home or the nearest it shopping complex here, Alamanda. :p

I'll make some breakfst at 9.30am
bathe baby Sarah at 10.30 am,
hangs the clothes afterwards,
make lunch and food for Baby Sarah,
feed baby Sarah at 12.30
lunch at 1.30
take an afternoon nap til 3.30 pm
Watch tv, sweep the dusty floor
bathe baby Sarah at 5.30 pm
prepare dinner at 8.30 pm
Lipat and hangs the clean clothes
sleep at 11.00pm.

I really need a Me Time, lately I've been busy with my family, time is such a scarcity. I'll one day, with a purse full of cash, fancy and trendy outfit, flashy make up, super high heels walk and shop like never before.
