Trip To Bandung : Cihampelas Road

We checked in at Hotel Cihampelas 2 at about 5.30pm after a shopping spree in Pasar Baru and decided to take a slow walk along Cihampelas Road... it is about 100 meter walk to Ci-point and 150 metre to Cihampelas Walk...... Eversince it was Saturday, there are a lot of cars strolling along Cihampelas Road... To where, only God knows.

Traffic Jam (Macet) in Bandung is normal... You'll get use to it...  You'll definitely see a lot of stalls like the one in the picture.. Most of the are selling foods and even Kartika Sari and Amanda Brownies... ;p
Walking along Cihampelas Road.... We just don't know what we'll find...
Angkutan Kota... It's like the main public transportation for Bandung people, there are a lot of 'em in Bandung City... The cost per trip is 2000Rp. Because of the heavy traffic, we choose to walk than to ride in Angkutan Kota... ;p
Cihampelas Road is popular with superheroes animation... Take a wild guess...... What is this?

The night view of Cihampelas Road... very busy...
Is there anything special about this guy's back? Hurm....
This is Rumah Abang....

His childhood superhero!
The Cihampelas Walk is a shopping mall in Cihampelas Road. They sell things we can find in Kuala Lumpur... Such as, Payless, Adidas, J Co, Nike.....

This is where we had our dinner on the third day.... BAKSO Lapangan Tembak Senayan which is located in Ci-Walk....

Again... Avocado Juice and Orange Juice... Total cost for dinner 55,000Rp ++

We only bought Bandung printed T's in Ci-point... The price is from 17,000 Rp to 22,500Rp.. The material is good and the price is great!

**End of day 3**

Trip To Bandung : Pasar Baru

We checked out from Augusta Valley Hotel early in the morning, and the hotel called us a Taxi (Blue Bird Of Course) to bring us to Pasar Baru for a REAL shopping spree! Weee! Another thing I would like to remind all of you, Blue Bird Taxiand Gemah Ripah are the most reliable source of public transportation in Bandung.... STAY AWAY from PUTRA...because they'll charge you a very expensive taxi fare! Strange thing is, PUTRA taxi uses Proton car... Ngeheheheh!

The mission for today is to check in at Cihampelas Hotel 2, Pasar Baru and a walk alaong Cihampelas road So, let's go!

Me after checking out from Augusta Valley Hotel! A cold and calm morning! I just love Augusta Valley Hotel! I really do.... We asked the hotel to get us a taxi to Pasar Baru (Blue Bird) .... The cost is about 30,000Rp. On the way, we stop by at the ATM Machine BII for Maybank and Cihampelas Hotel 2 to leave our bag there. They call it the "Penitipan Tas" service. It is indeed very convenient.
Among the many merchandises in Pasar Baru!
The Lace is only 35,000 Rp per metre (RM10 +-)

I'm happy yay! Those kain are just beautiful!
Cheap Telekung to bargain!!
The telekung behind me is only 120,000Rp... but remember, you can always bargain for a cheaper price....
Hubby bargaining for a cheaper batik printed shirt.. he bought it for 40,000Rp

Lace 100,000 Rp/metre..... Lotsa colors they'll make you CRAZY!!!
The color of our Baju Raya... Silver... 40,000Rp per metre... Cheap cheap!
The Tokey of Cosmo

Lunch in Pasar Baru!
Me face looked so tired, me hate this picture... Ignore me, just look at the food... Total lunch 40,000Rp.
The kain and telekung we caught that day in Pasar Baru... Wooohoooaa!

Trip To Bandung : Rumah Mode and Jalan Dago

Time is not to be wasted......
Time is the most important essence when traveling..
Time... Fill it with so much fun!

After that scrumptious luncheon we had at Kampung Daun, we head to Rumah Mode.. As far as I know, everybody who went to Bandung will definitely go to Rumah Mode. It is located at Jalan Setiabudhi Bandung. We can see many Malaysian shops here... Hihiks! Rumah Mode is a one floor shopping place with a very nice interior decoration, friendly staff and they offer affordable price as well! In fact, I went to Rumah Mode twice (I'll update later), the first visit is meant to survey the item and price since we haven't see anything yet from the many Bandung Factory Outlets located at Jalan Dago.

Bandung Factory Outlet Jalan Dago : Grande Fashion Gallery
I strongly recommend this FO!!!
Bandung Factory Outlet Jalan Dago : Jetset Factory Outlet
Bandung Factory Outlet Jalan Dago : Blossom Family Outlet!
One of the best!
Bandung Factory Outlet Jalan Dago : Episode
Got myself a blue pants with a blue blouse. That's all!
Teh Botol Addict........5,000 Rp per bottle! This tea is so special and the taste is so natural!

This entry and the last three entries are the activities we do in one day.... My hubby doesn't find anything interesting in Jalan Dago and he wants to visit Rumah Mode again....... So we decided to go back to Rumah Mode on Sunday....... Thanks for reading! Next in line... PASAR BARU! Stay tune!
